FlupはShipwreckedで追加された敵対モブです。Tidal Marshバイオームに生息しています。いわゆるTentacleのような存在です。
Flupは普段は地面の中に隠れており、ある程度近づくと地面から目だけ出して様子をうかがっていることが確認できます。そして他のモブやプレイヤーがそばを通ると飛び出して襲ってきます。初見で用心の少ないプレイヤーはあっさり彼の攻撃で殺されてしまうでしょう。
Tentacleとは異なり、Flupはある程度数が少なくなるとまた新たにスポーンします。十分に広いTidal Marshであれば3～4日でスポーンします。しかし、地面を張り替えてしまえばそれを防ぐことができます。

Trivia[]
- Flups may be based on real life mudskippers, amphibious fishes that live in tropical regions and can also live on land. The appearance also resembles anglerfishes, fishes that have a protrusion on their head. Their eye also seems to be quite similar to a Periscope, which is commonly used on submarines to search for threats while submerged.
