Hanging Vine（垂れ下がった蔓）はダウンロードコンテンツ「Don't Starve: Hamlet」に登場するモブです。
行動[]
Deep RainforestまたはGas Rainforestバイオームに生息しており、通常は姿が見えませんがモブやプレイヤーが傍を通りかかると上から蔓が降りてきます。蔓には2種類あり、一つは完全に無害な植物タイプでハサミで切り落とせばロープになります。もう一つは敵対的なモンスタータイプで近くにいるモブやプレイヤーに攻撃を仕掛けます。プレイヤーが攻撃を受けた場合はインベントリからアイテムを一つ叩き落とされてしまいます。また、地面に食べ物が落ちているとそれを食べに行きます。

蔓が叩き落とすアイテムはインベントリ上で一番左に配置されている物であることを利用して、スタック数が多くかつ叩き落とされても良いアイテム（例：草40個など）を左に置き、武器防具を装備し攻撃を受ける前提で戦う方法があります。もしくは食べ物を地面に置き、そちらに気を取られているうちに攻撃を加える方法もあります。こちらは相手が食べ物を優先させるため反撃されることもありません。さらに、もし蔓が葉っぱ肉を落とした場合それを利用して別の蔓にも同じ作戦を連鎖させることができます。
