LavaeはDon't Starve Togetherの公式リリースに合わせて、 Reign of Giants に追加されたmobです。Dragonflyによって呼び出され、500の体力を持ちます。近寄ったものや触れたものはすべて火が付きます。もちろんプレイヤーもです。

Lavaeを殺すと灰を落とすので、Dragonflyを寝かしつけるのが楽になります。もし凍っている間に死んだ場合、1～5個の岩を落とします。Lavaeは短時間に多数出現する上、高い体力を持っているので、倒すのに最も簡単な方法は凍らせることです。凍らせる場合、Ice Staffなら3発必要です。

• たくさん出てくるLavaeを凍らせる方法として、Ice Flingomaticがあります。火が付くもの（木の壁や樹木）を雪玉の届く範囲に設置し、Lavaeを引き込むことで、火災を起こして作動させます。すると雪玉が当たったLavaeは凍ります。

Bugs[]

• Lavae はworm holeを通るとプレイヤーへの興味を失い、プレイヤーに攻撃されるまで次の標的を定めることもしません。
• Lavae は攻撃されたとしてもAIを標的とはしません。
• Lavae がたき火の上を通って火をつけた場合、サーバーをリスタートさせるまで火が消えなくなります。
• コードで出現させたLavaeはプレイヤーに攻撃せず宙返りした後消滅してしまいます。
