期間中は各キャラの変装衣装スキンが全てアンロックされ、ハロウィン限定のガラクタやお菓子などが入手できるようになります。また、イベント限定のクラフトタブとしてMad Scienceタブが出現します。ワールド内ではカボチャやカボチャのランタンをあしらったイベント限定セットピースが出現するようになります。
イベント期間外でもワールド設定画面にて「Events」の項目を「Hallowed Nights」にすることでイベントを再現したワールドを作成することができます。ただし変装衣装スキンを着ることは出来ません。またハロウィンのガラクタをブタの王様にあげてもお菓子は貰えず、代わりに金塊1つを受け取るのみとなります。

セリフについてはHallowed Nights/Quotesをご覧くださいHalloween Trinkets（ハロウィンのガラクタ）はハロウィン限定のアイテムで、ワールド内のあちこちに散らばっています。ブタの王様に渡すと8つのハロウィンのお菓子と交換してくれます。これらのアイテムはキャットクーンのおもちゃとして渡すこともできます。同じアイテムは1スタックに付き40個持つことができます。

セリフについてはHallowed Nights/Quotesをご覧くださいHalloween Candies（ハロウィンのお菓子）はハロウィン限定のアイテムです。ブタの王様にハロウィンのガラクタを渡すと5個のお菓子と交換してもらえます（ハロウィン限定スキンの変装衣装を着ているとさらに多く貰える）。これらは食べ物ですが腐りません。食べると0～2Health_Meter.png、0～2、0～2Sanity_Meter.pngが回復します。同じ種類であれば1スタックにつき40個持つことができます。

Mad Scientist Lab（マッドサイエンティストの実験場）は2018年のイベントから追加された作成可能な建造物です。科学タブから選択でき、材料は電子部品2つ、切り石2つになります。
傍に立つことでMad Science（マッドサイエンス）フィルターが開かれ、ここからさまざまな薬品アイテム作成の実験を行うことができるようになります。材料はアイテムごとに異なりますが、いずれも共通して正気度を消費します。
使用方法は薬品ごとに異なりますが、どれもプレイヤーにとって有益な効果を持っています。通常のクラフトアイテムとは異なり薬品を作成するとき完成するまで少し時間がかかります。

2018年のイベントから、木を切ると低確率でコウモリの群れが発生するようになりました。コウモリは画面周囲を飛び回ってプレイヤーの正気度を減少させ、数秒間行動不能にします。正気度減少は恐怖心の実験で作成した薬を飲めば無効化できます。

- ハロウィンのガラクタの1つであるMonkey PawはW・W・ジェイコブズによる短編ホラー小説「猿の手」が元ネタです。
- 2017年で新たに追加されたハロウィンのガラクタとお菓子のデザインはKlei Entertainmentによる別作品「Griftlands」、「Hot Lava」、「Oxygen Not Included」に登場するアイテムや生き物がモチーフとなっています。
- Griftlandsモチーフの物：Binoculars、Lone Glove、Snail Scale、Otherworldly Jawbreaker
- Hot Lavaモチーフの物：Goop Canister、Toy Cobra、Crocodile Toy、Lava Pepper
- Oxygen Not Includedモチーフの物：Broken Terrarium、Odd Radio、Broken Hairdryer、Candy Lice
- ウィグフリッドも大抵のお菓子を食べることができますが、Not-So-Candy Corn、Raisins、"Raisins"は食べるのを拒否します。
- 過去のバージョンのゲームファイルでは「trinket_46」のコードには「Duplicated Pumpkin」というデータ名が割り当てられていましたが、後に「Broken Hairdryer」に変更され、こちらの方がゲーム内にリリースされました。
- お菓子バッグのデザインはアニメ映画「ナイトメアー・ビフォア・クリスマス」に登場するウギー・ブギーというキャラクターのデザインに非常によく似ています。
