Azerothでの生活において、大規模な戦闘から少人数の遭遇戦に至るまで、いくつかのものはより儀礼的、もしくはむしろ公式行事とみなされるに至ったものもある。このページでは現在もゲーム内で進行中である、そういった対立あるいはお祭り ―その境界はあいまいであるが― を記していく。気軽に参加することで楽しめることと思う。

イベントに付随して変化のあるもの:

• 新たにエリア追加されるフェスティバル(キャラバン・テント・ワゴン)など。
• 既存の建物への装飾
• 新しいMobやクエストを提供するNOCなど。
• 特別なフード/ドリンクアイテム
• お祭り限定のクエスト、またその褒章アイテム
• お祭りのテーマに沿ったレシピ

開催中のイベント[]

Azerothの一連の混乱に満ちた歴史を通じ、祭祀や祝いごとといったものは世界の情勢を左右する紛争の影に埋もれていった。日々、新たな試練が持ち上がるたびに、新たな英雄がそれに応え、奮闘のうちに栄誉と報酬を得るのである。下記に記すものは冒険を求める英雄たちの確かな調査 ―たんなる参加であった例もあるが― による、現在継続的に行われている馬鹿騒ぎの一例である。

• Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza (日曜 午後2時から午後4時)
• Elemental Invasions (ランダムだが高い頻度で発生)
• Gurubashi Arena Booty Run (3時間毎)
• Darkmoon Faire (毎月。期間は一週間、開催地は毎回異なる)
• Battlegrounds Holiday (毎週木曜の夜から火曜の朝まで)
• Argent Tournament (常時。 Patch 3.1.0にて追加、Patch 3.2.0にて拡張）

※表記の曜日・時間はサーバ現地時間のもの。

季節のイベント[]

頻発する紛争の緊張緩和の一助として、HordeとAlliance双方のリーダーは彼ら自身の民のために、祝日や特別なイベントにあわせ、万全に用意されたフェスティバルを開催することもある。一年の成果や勝利を、多くの仲間と共に祝う以上の喜びがあるだろうか？

Beginning with Patch 1.9, Blizzard introduced the first World Event that allows participation by all players toward a world-changing event.

• The Scourge Invasion (Introduced in Patch 1.11 Prior to the release of Naxxramas I)
• Dark Portal Opens (Introduced in Patch 2.0.3, immediately preceding the release of WoW: Burning Crusade)
• Capture of Sun's Reach and Opening of the Sunwell Gates (Introduced in Patch 2.4)
• Spirits of Competition (Re-occuring every 2 years, to coincide with the Summer and Winter Olympics)
• Zombie Infestation‎ (Introduced in Patch 3.0.2, immediately preceding the release of WoW: Wrath of the Lich King)
