Maxwell's Lightはアドベンチャーモードの5～6章限定で見られる建造物です。プレイヤーが近づくと自動で火が付き、離れるとまた消えます。

この建造物は破壊不可で、近くに立っても正気度の減少はありません。また、火が消えている状態で炎の杖や松明を選んでカーソルを合わせると「Light（火を点ける）」と表示されます。幻覚で見える目は通常暗闇の中でしか姿を見せませんがMaxwell's Lightで照らされている範囲内でも出てきます。

Maxwell's Lightの近くで眠ると起きた時に火が消えています。もう一度明かりをつけたい場合は一旦光源の感知範囲から離れてもう一度近づく必要があります。

• End of the Beginningアップデート以前はMaxwell's LightのグラフィックはNight Lightと同じものを使用していました。
• 6章におけるいくつかのMaxwell's Lightは5章のそれと比べて照らす範囲が狭いです。
