Fountain of Knowledge（知識の泉）はDon't Starve Togetherにおける「Return of Them」アップデートにて追加されたオブジェクトです。古代の書庫バイオームに設置されています。

通常は触れても何も起こりませんが、書庫のスイッチをオンにすると稼働を始めます。稼働後に触れると蒸留された知識を取り出すことができます。

3タイプの知識の泉はそれぞれ以下のコンソールコマンドで呼び出すことができます。↓

Distilled Knowledge（蒸留された知識）は知識の泉から入手できるアイテムです。これを書庫のオーケストリオンの中心に置いてパズルを解くと設計図が貰えます。

貰える設計図は泉の種類ごとに全部で3種類存在します。（以下の表参照）

• 知識の泉と蒸留された知識はReturn of Themの「Forgotten Knowledge」アップデートにて追加されました。
• 黄色の知識の泉のデザインはクロックワークビショップの頭部のデザインに似ています。また、マクスウェルで知識の泉を調べた時の「I always wondered where those parts came from.（あの部品が何に使われていたのかいつも気になっていたんだ）」「Ah. I suppose I misinterpreted the original design.（あぁ、どうやら本来の用途を測りかねていたみたいだな）」というセリフから、マクスウェルはクロックワークビショップを作成するにあたって、用途がわからないままに知識の泉の部品を流用していたと考えられます。
• ワームウッドで蒸留された知識を調べた時の「Plant this in funny floor（アノ変ナ床ノ上ニ置クンダヨ）」というセリフから、彼のみが最初からこのアイテムの使用方法を理解していることがわかります。
