The merchant arrives fittingly every week on Gluttony.png and enjoys decadent food. He will purchase from you almost any dish. His real name is Lawrence. He is the brother of Episcop.

クエスト[]
Buy or Farm[]
After talking to Horadric about a vegetable garden south of the keeper's house he will tell you that it is abandoned and that he sold it to the merchant. He asks you to speak to the merchant first, but you are able to do it anyway after using the Garden_certificate_item.pngGarden certificate.
After meeting the merchant he tells you that you can use the land if you are able to successfully grow vegetables.
First he demands, 10 .
If you refuse once, Gold_Coin_Symbol.png5 .
If you refuse twice, you'll have to buy the garden for 10 and make it nice again. After an apology, he'll trade with you again, and lower the price to a final Gold_Coin_Symbol.png1 . You'll still be able to work the garden without paying the money, but you need to pay to advance the questline.
If you accept the barter, he gives you a quest to bring him your first harvest, e.g. Carrot (12), Cabbage_item.pngCabbage (12), and Beet (12). When you do so, you gain 10 Happiness_or_Friendship_Symbol.png, if you also payed back the loan.
Trade license[]

Once you bring your license to the merchant, he will open up the trade office and ask you to bring a crate of goods each for him to sell. These Crate_item.pngcrates are made in the kitchen garden via the packing table (blueprint enabled through accepting the quest) or by the crate factory.
Hiccup Cure[]
The merchant is suffering from hiccups. After trying to scare the hiccups out of him, he gives you a quest to find Hiccup grass (1) growing in the swamp, west of the church across the stone bridge, which you have to repair. Return to the merchant for 10 Happiness_or_Friendship_Symbol.png.
No Taste[]
After you bring him some Hiccup grass it cures his hiccups but also leaves him unable to taste anything due to a curse. He requests that you speak to Clotho about a cure.
After some back-and-forth about professional courtesy to the other witch who cursed him, Clotho relents and tells you the recipe for his cure: Salt_item.pngSalt and health solution. These two ingredients used together will create Spices_item.pngspices. Due to a bug (?) it is possible to create spices without talking to her first.
Bring the spices to the merchant for another 10 .

After 60[]
You need to complete the two tasks related to the trade office (getting enough fame and selling 7 crates), that should give you at least 70 to unlock the next step. After doing this, besides getting fame (1) for the trade office, she will start selling Jewelry_item.pngjewelry and perfume.
Big Ceremony[]
The merchant tells you that all went well, but he wants to attend a big ceremony as keeper of the king's kitchen and needs your help for that. After the Inquisitor turned you down, you can ask the merchant to join your feast in the cathedral. He agrees and hands you an Accepted_invitation_item.pngAccepted invitation to show to the bishop.
Salty Fork[]
Ask him for the Salty fork. He'll only give it to you, if you reached 100 Happiness_or_Friendship_Symbol.png with him.
Loan[]
If you ask him about seeds he'll offer you a loan of 5 with 100% interrest. If you decline it first, you can always get it via talking about your deal and then about the loan. It is not timed but you have to pay back Silver_Coin_Symbol.png10 .
